Pinewood Derby

My son's first pinewood derby car!
His official weight was 4.85 ounces out of the 5 ounce max.
Hunter's car won the open class, he beat out 29 other cars!
Before the open class ran, the fastest run was 2.702, Hunter's car ran; 2.711, 2.701, 2.671, and 2.669.
The all time track record was 2.551, so now we have a goal for next race.
More graphite, more break-in, and add that extra .15 ounces of weight. Maybe pay more attention to COG.
